Took it out placed it in my main pc again, yet not seen I decided to proceed and install windows 8.To my surpise It all went fine considering the bios hasen't detected it. Result was, No ssd shown in the sata settings, yet "frozen" in the secure erase menu.Īt this point I got annoyed, took it out, placed it in my second pc (which runs the same maximus 6 hero) and secure erased it without any issues. Following this I did the following steps:ĭC-ed the ssd and reconnected it: result was, no SSD.ĭC-ed the ssd, and cleared the CMOS, same result.ĭC-ed removed the SSD and left it over night without power plugged in. I exited the bios, rebooted my pc got into it again and now I can't see it anymore, not even in the sata settings. Upon clicking on my vertex, it suddenty changed to "frozen". I nicely went to my bios as many times before (did another 2 times during my life time pc I have atm) and to my surprise on the secure erase menu I saw my both ssd's (vertex 3 120gb and samsung evo 250). A few days ago I managed to (I still have no idea how) get the all might mysearch bar thingy installed on my pc which is a pain to uninstall and after almost 6 months sinds last format I decided to it again.
